Job Description:
- Join Intel as a Principal Engineer in SoC Design Verification, leading functional logic verification efforts
- Define and develop scalable and reusable block, subsystem, and SoC verification plans
- Execute verification plans and run emulation and system simulation models
- Investigate, root-cause, and debug issues in presilicon environments
- Collaborate with SoC architects, microarchitects, RTL developers, and physical design teams
- Document test plans and lead technical reviews
- Incorporate security activities into verification workflows
- Maintain and improve the functional verification infrastructure and methodology
- Formulate technical strategies and align organizational goals with Intel's vision
- Act as a mentor, coach, and role model within the organization
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 15+ years of industry experience
- Proficiency in System Verilog, OVM, and UVM for development of verification environments and test benches
- Expertise in SoC functional logic verification, including design for verification (DFV), test content development, and test planning
- Extensive experience with debugging, hardware simulation, and hardware validation techniques
- Thorough knowledge of digital design fundamentals, systems architecture, and SoC microarchitecture principles
- Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including SoC feature test writing and integration
- Demonstrated capability in root-cause analysis and implementation of corrective measures for pre-silicon failures
