About the position

Citibank, N.A. seeks an IT Project Tech Lead for its Irving, Texas location. The role requires gathering and interpreting data from various sources into meaningful reports and creating concise presentations for project meetings and management updates. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and report project status on a regular basis, including metrics needed for various risk groups.
  • Identify and manage critical path deliverables and milestones.
  • Closely monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of tasks assigned to various technology teams.
  • Leverage experience and take advantage on on-going training to take an active role in the resolution of technical issues to ensure project success.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure project scope definition to meets the business objectives.
  • Create detailed project plans and ensure appropriate resource assignment across different technology teams.
  • Identify project risks and issues and define mitigation plans.
  • Closely monitor project progress and ensure timely completion using Citi’s project management tool PTS 2.0.
  • Active participation in the bi-monthly CyberSecurity Book of Work calls as well as regularly scheduled and ad-hoc management updates.
  • Gather business technology, process, and change requirements by email, in meetings and shared documentation.
  • Coordinate standard Citi Technology Infrastructure solution designs.
  • Prepare project status reports, management updates and data analysis.
  • Work with virtual and physical distributed server environments, network, related technology applications, large-scale enterprise data centers, databases, and storage.
  • Gather and interpret data from various sources and combine them into meaningful reports.
  • Consistently create concise and informative presentations to facilitate productive project meetings and management updates.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field and 6 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as a Systems Analyst, IT Infrastructure Project Lead, Data Engineer, Senior Technical Analyst, Reporting Developer, Support Engineer or related position implementing solutions to complex applications for enterprise level IT projects.
  • 6 years of progressively responsible experience must include: Data Analytics; CyberSecurity; and Coordinating with global IT teams.
  • At least 1 year of experience must include: IT Project Management; Collecting evidence for internal audit processes; Develop and create Queries using SQL; Change management and follow up during maintenance windows; Performing Root cause analysis and liaising with management; Following the Software development life cycle and code testing; and Report development.
